Join Our Team as a Team Lead – Application Support at Steamships Limited, IT Division!

Steamships Limited, IT Division, is seeking a proactive and technically skilled Team Lead – Application Support to join our fast-paced and innovative team.

This leadership role is ideal for a dynamic professional with strong application support experience and a passion for delivering efficient and scalable software solutions to enhance business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the application support team to ensure timely and effective resolution of system issues.
  • Provide expert-level support for key business applications, ensuring high availability and performance.
  • Oversee application lifecycle management including deployment, maintenance, upgrades, and patching.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather requirements, troubleshoot application issues, and implement solutions.
  • Ensure adherence to change management and incident response processes.
  • Maintain documentation for application support procedures and system configurations.
  • Coordinate with vendors and third-party providers for application integrations and technical support.
  • Drive automation and continuous improvement initiatives to streamline support processes.
  • Monitor application performance and provide data-driven recommendations for optimization.
  • Train and mentor team members to ensure skills development and knowledge sharing

Qualifications & Skills:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in technical application support with understanding of Office 365 ecosystem and various software applications, databases, and operating systems is essential.
  • At least 2 years in a team leadership capacity.

Technical & Soft Skills:

  • Strong understanding of enterprise applications, databases, and power tools.
  • Knowledge of SQL, system integration, and application diagnostics.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective leadership and team collaboration skills.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to engage with both technical and non-technical users.
