Summary

Oversees and coordinates Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) works on-site. Ensures all installations and repairs are completed according to approved drawings, standards, and safety regulations. Provides technical leadership to trade teams and acts as the single point of coordination for MEP works.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily activities of plumbing and electrical team leaders and technicians.
  • Interpret MEP drawings and coordinate execution as per project plan.
  • Liaise with Site Manager, consultants, and other trades to resolve site issues.
  • Monitor work quality and ensure compliance with project specs and codes.
  • Ensure proper material usage, inventory control, and prevent wastage.
  • Enforce safety standards and conduct toolbox talks.
  • Submit daily work progress, manpower, and issue reports.
  • Support in testing and commissioning of MEP systems.
  • Train and mentor subordinates to improve productivity and safety.

Job Requirements

  • Certificate or Diploma in Electrical, Plumbing, or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Minimum 7 years’ site experience with at least 3 years in a supervisory or coordination role.
  • Good understanding of MEP systems and sequencing.
  • Ability to read and coordinate MEP technical drawings.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiar with ISO 9001 and safety standards (e.g., ISO 45001 or equivalent).
