Research fields include customer satisfaction, ad and communications testing, brand development, media ratings, segmentation studies, product testing, and monitoring and evaluation surveys. The techniques used include qualitative research, quantitative research, data analysis, observation, and audit methods.

The Role

We now have an opportunity for a professional to join our small executive team in Port Moresby as Graduate Field Coordinator. This role covers a range of project and people tasks both in the office and in the field, including:

• coordination of our fieldwork teams of interviewers, including running project briefings, conducting field visits, monitoring team progress, and planning logistics
• providing accurate and timely reporting on fieldwork status to the field management team
• following our fieldwork compliance requirements for ISO using our existing procedures
• regular travel domestically in PNG to conduct small team briefings and check on team progress
• checking questionnaire scripts that are programmed onto tablet devices by our data team to see that they work correctly before running briefings with the fieldwork team
• supporting the PNG General Manager as required

The role suits a person with flexibility in working hours, including work into early evenings and on weekends as necessary.

You will report to the PNG General Manager with line reporting to the Regional Operations Manager.

The Person

You must have a university degree in any field including business, with a good academic record.
You will ideally have up to 2 years of commercial work experience in any field, but newer graduates are also welcome to apply. An understanding of any of the following fields would be an advantage but not essential: market research, operations, information technology, project management, or human resources.
