Operating in Papua New Guinea for over 30 years, Nestle PNG Limited is seeking a qualified
and experienced Technical Storeman with to join our Engineering Team, based at our Lae Factory.

Reporting directly to the Technical Stores Supervisor, the role is responsible for the execution of technical spare parts storage, handling, and inventory control activities, ensuring spare parts are accurately managed and readily available to support maintenance and manufacturing operations.

Key responsibilities:

• Receive, inspect, store, issue, and record technical spare parts in line with approved procedures
• Ensure accurate and timely SAP system postings for all spare parts movements
• Maintain correct identification, labeling, storage location, and preservation of spare parts
• Perform cycle counting activities and report inventory discrepancies
• Support identification of slow-moving or obsolete spare parts
• Ensure technical store housekeeping, safety, and 5S standards are maintained
• Support maintenance teams by ensuring timely availability of spare parts against approved work
  orders
• Participate in TPM / PM pillar activities and continuous improvement routines
• Support spare parts handling for capital projects and equipment start-ups
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, food safety, regulatory, and GMP requirements

Qualification, skills, and experience;

• Minimum technical certificate, trade qualification, or relevant practical experience (mechanical,
  electrical, or engineering related)
• Experience in a technical store, warehouse, or maintenance or FMCG environment is preferred
• Basic knowledge of spare parts management and inventory control processes
• Exposure to SAP (PM/MM) or similar systems is an advantage
• Understanding of safety, quality, food safety, and GMP standards
• Ability to work effectively with maintenance and engineering teams
• Reliable, safety-focused, and disciplined approach to work
