PNG Motors is looking for an experienced and reliable Tow Truck Driver to join our team.

The Role

We are seeking a motivated Tow Truck Driver to safely transport vehicles between customers, our workshop and other locations as required.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate tow trucks and recover vehicles.
• Collect and deliver vehicles as required.
• Load, secure and unload vehicles correctly.
• Complete vehicle recovery and towing work safely and efficiently.
• Carry out basic checks of the tow truck and report any issues.
• Maintain the tow truck in a clean and roadworthy condition.
• Provide professional and respectful customer service.
• Follow all company safety procedures and requirements.

Requirements

• Valid Class 6 Driver’s License is essential **DO NOT APPLY IF YOU DO NOT HAVE A CLASS 6 LICENCE**
• Previous tow truck or vehicle recovery experience preferred.
• Good knowledge of Port Moresby roads and surrounding areas.
• Good driving record and strong focus on safety.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work independently.
• Physically fit and capable of loading and securing vehicles.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours when required.
