Global Constructions Ltd has a reputable history of over 30 years in the Civil Construction industry in Papua New Guinea.

We are currently seeking to recruit An experienced:

Trade Assistant (Mechanical)

KEY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist in the service and maintenance of heavy vehicles, light vehicles, and ancillary mechanical equipment.
• Operate plant/equipment efficiently and safely to ensure satisfactory completion of assigned duties.
• Undertaking general labour duties as directed e.g., tyre fitting, assisting other trade areas.
• Demonstrated care of equipment and tools.
• General cleanliness of Workshop yard
• Ability to read work orders and complete required documentation.
• Follow directions of your supervisor or Manager.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Relevant Trade Certificate in Mechanical
• Trade Assistant with trade experience within a mechanical workshop.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and to implement time management

principles to prioritise work and meet deadlines.

• Ability to operate effectively in a team, contributing positively to team operations.
• Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and with limited supervision.
• Strong focus to safety.
• Good communication skills (written and oral)
• Willingness to learn.
