Operating in Papua New Guinea for over 30 years, Nestle PNG Limited is seeking a qualified and experienced Trade Marketing Lead – Momase/Highlands with to join our Marketing Team, based in Lae.
Reporting directly to the Marketing Manager, the Trade Marketing Lead is responsible for driving the
planning and execution of sampling activities across the Highlands and Momase regions, managing all
POSM/POP marketing materials, maintaining accurate stock control, and overseeing distribution and
logistics to support brand growth and visibility.
Key responsibilities:
- Support the development and execution of marketing plans to drive profitable growth for MAGGI,
NESCAFÉ, COFFEE-MATE, MILO, and SUNSHINE brands, with a strong focus on sampling, trial,
and new consumer recruitment - Lead and manage all sampling activities in Lae & Mt. Hagen, including supervising the Sampling
Team, coordinating stock requirements, and managing equipment and logistics. - Support the Marketing Manager and wider Marketing team through trade marketing execution,
coordination of market intelligence, competitor insights, and performance tracking. - Manage all POSM/POP inventory in Lae & Hagen, ensuring accurate monthly stock takes, proper
storage, and efficient distribution. - Collaborate with Regional Sales Managers to deliver aligned trade marketing support and
activation plans. - Actively participate in monthly marketing planning cycles to ensure robust demand planning that
incorporates sampling-driven sales impact. - Assist with engagement strategies and liaise with media stakeholders.
Qualification, skills, and experience: - Degree or Diploma in Sales, Marketing, Business, or related discipline.
- Minimum 3 years FMCG experience in Sales, Marketing, or Project Management roles.
- Demonstrated experience in people leadership.
- Strong project management capability with the ability to manage multiple activities simultaneously.
- Experience managing agencies, suppliers, and media partners.
- Strong communication and influencing skills.
- Understanding of PNG retail trade environment is an advantage.
- Brand management experience will be highly regarded.
