TRAINER ASSESSOR

HBS PNG LIMITED currently operates in numerous mine sites across PNG, both on the mainland and remote island locations. We own and operate one of the largest and best maintained mining fleets in PNG, offering the mining sector a variety of services including road construction, maintenance, haulage, lighting, crushing services and plant equipment hire.

We are taking expressions of interest for highly and suitably qualified individuals for the position of Trainer Assessor. Applicants must have experience within the mining and construction fields.

This role will involve:

• Planning, designing, and developing training packages
• Use training packages and accredited courses to facilitate trainings
• Conduct Training, RPL and VOC on Plant Operators and Drivers
• Facilitating the delivery of specialised training by an external provider
• Analysing current training methods and identifying areas for improvement
• Setting training objectives and assessing progress

The Candidate must have:

• Minimum of Grade 12 certificate
• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
• Minimum of at least 5 years’ experience in a similar role.
• Competencies in – Heavy Equipment; Medium Rigid; Heavy Rigid; Heavy; Combination articulated other competencies such as (Forklift)
• Valid PNG Driver’s License, Classes 4, 6 and 7
• Excellent written & verbal communication skills
• Advance level in MS Office package
• Ability to work to meet tight deadlines on multiple tasks
