Training & Compliance Manager - Maritime

P&O Maritime Services, PNG BU are seeking an energetic and highly motivated expert in Training & Compliance Manager to join our dedicated team based in Motukea Island. This role is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned maritime professional to contribute to our operations and training of our local seafarers.

We are looking for individuals who have:

• Unlimited Chief Engineer or Master Certificate of Competency with substantial experience in shore-based fleet management
• 2 to 3 years as Senior Mariner
• Demonstrated knowledge of ISM, Quality and Safety Management systems
• High level of English proficiency (written and verbal) and strong report writing skills.

• Broad maritime industry experience, including areas of technical, crewing, budget development and control, operations and compliance

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant industry software
• Well-developed leadership, and management and influencing skills
• High level analytical and problem-solving skills
• Effective time management and organisational skills

• Able to work under pressure and respond to changing work demands.

• Experienced with a multi-national/ multi-cultural work force.
• Team player with a ‘Can Do’ attitude
• A training qualification and 1+ year in a training or education capacity is preferred (though training can be provided)
• Integrated System Auditor accreditation preferred
