Training Chief Engineer - Maritime

DP World Maritime Solutions, PNG BU, formerly known as P&O Maritime Services are seeking an energetic and highly motivated expert in Training Chief Engineer - Maritime to join our dedicated team based in Motukea Island.

We are looking for individuals who have:

• Certificate of Proficiency as Chief Engineer issued from Flag State
• 2 to 3 years as Senior Mariner
• Demonstrated knowledge of ISM Quality and Safety Management systems
• High level of English language proficiency both written and verbal.
• Demonstrated experience in developing and managing planned maintenance systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant software applications.
• Broad maritime industry experience
• Well-developed leadership and management skills
• High level analytical and problem-solving skills
• High level communication and interpersonal skills including report writing.
• Effective time management and organisational skills
• Able to work under pressure and respond to changing work demands.
• Experienced with a multi-national/ multi-cultural work force.
• Strong customer service orientation
