TRAINING SUPERVISOR

HBS PNG LIMITED currently operates in numerous mine sites across PNG, both on the mainland and remote island locations. We own and operate one of the largest and best maintained mining fleets in PNG, offering the mining sector a variety of services including road construction, maintenance, haulage, lighting, crushing services and plant equipment hire.

We are taking expressions of interest for highly and suitably qualified individuals for the position of Training Supervisor. Applicants must have experience within the mining and construction fields.

This role will involve:

• Coordinate and supervise all training activities to ensure alignment with HBS Group priorities.
• Work with Training Development Superintendent to conduct Training Needs Analysis (TNA) and identify development gaps.
• Support Training Development Superintendent to develop standard training modules and facilitate refresher sessions.
• Maintain updated training plans and prepare detailed monthly training calendars.
• Monitor skill gaps and recommend targeted development interventions.
• Facilitating the delivery of specialised training by an external provider.
• Analysing current training methods and identifying areas for improvement.
• Setting training objectives, track progress, measure impact, and continuously improve the training process.
• Evaluate training ROI and provide insights for continuous improvement.

The Candidate must have:

• Minimum of Diploma in HR with Strong background in training, coaching, and staff development,
• Minimum of at least 5 years’ experience in a similar role.
• Experience in developing training materials and competency assessments.
• Excellent written & verbal communication skills
• Advance level in MS Office package
• Ability to work to meet tight deadlines on multiple tasks
