Position: Truck Driver Location: Port Moresby

Hi-Lift Company is seeking experienced and reliable Truck Drivers to join our Transport Team. The successful candidates will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of containers and cargo within Port Moresby, ensuring strict compliance with safety regulations and company policies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and drive commercial trucks for the transportation of containers or cargo of all types
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness and compliance
• Securely load, transport, and unload containers and cargo while adhering to safety protocols
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption, and cargo documentation
• Adhere to all road safety regulations, traffic laws, and company policies
• Communicate effectively with the fleet coordinator, logistics team, and customers regarding deliveries
• Plan and manage delivery routes to ensure timely and efficient service

Requirements:

• Valid Class 4 & Class 6 Driver’s Licence
• A valid Police Clearance Certificate
• Basic literacy skills (ability to read and write)
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in container and cargo transportation
• Physically fit and capable of handling the demands of the role
• High level of honesty, reliability, and professionalism
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet strict deadlines
