Vehicle Yard Receivable Clerk

Location: Lae, Morobe Province, Papua New Guinea

Job Summary:

Vehicle Yard Receivable Clerk plays important role in Shipping and Customer Service Department by ensuring the efficiency of vehicle cargo shipments in accordance with company standard operating procedure. This position requires regular coordination with customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with Motor Dealers on the delivery of motor vehicles and other types of units or machines as well as serving walk-in customers on all vehicle and RORO cargos.
• Carry out vehicle inspections and complete corresponding documentations.
• Ensure vehicles/ machines are properly arranged to its respective ports.
• Coordinate with Operations, Warehouse and Shipping Documentations in ensuring the accuracy and timely shipment of vehicle/machine cargos.
• Carry out related duties as role requires.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Education: minimum Grade 12.
• At least 3-4 years within this field or related roles/position.
• Holds valid Class 6 Driver’s License.
• Capable in coordinating with Motor Dealers and walk-in customers on the delivery of Motor Vehicles, Trucks, Buses, Machines, Break Bulk Cargo including Roll On Roll Off cargo.
• Solid knowledge in carrying out vehicle inspections and completing necessary documentations.
• Keen to details and well organized.
• Good mathematical and computer skills.
• Able to foster sustainable relationships of trust through an open and interactive communication with customers and co-workers.
• Possess a strong commitment to personal and job safety.
• Able to work overtime and on weekends.
• Sober habits, good work ethics, friendly, optimistic and strong team player.
• Can easily adopt organization’s system and flow of work orders.
• With proof of education credentials.
• Must be residing within Lae or nearby.
