General Purpose

To assume the position of Voyage Accountant and provide support to FC and Management and Tax Accountant.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

• Communicating efficiently with Principals.
• Timely reconciliation and report submission of voyage GAS and principal’s ledger.
• Preparing PDA, FDA, Invoice and revenue reports.
• Respond to principal’s queries and collaborate with operations team.
• Assisting in collection and provide additional reports requested by principals.
• Maintaining, updating and reporting of principal accounts.
• Consistently collaborate with AR and AP staff for voyage related disbursement, collection and follow up of overdue receivables.
• Assist in commission computation for principal accounts and revenue computation for slot vessel operations and husbandry services.
• Liaise with IRC and local bank (BSP) for TCC renewal process for Principal’s account monthly remittances.
• Perform ad hoc assignments and projects as assigned by the management.

Education and Training

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.

Knowledge and Experience

• At least 3 years of work experience in General Accounting.
• Shipping industry experience preferred.
• Able to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
• Ability to stick to time constraints.
