Warehouse / Yard Hand (Consignment Stock)

Location: Mine Operation – Morobe / Eastern Highlands Provinces, Papua New Guinea

Roster: 16 days on / 12 days off, dayshift only

About the Role

MasterSystem Technologies (PNG) Ltd is looking for motivated Warehouse / Yard Hands to support consignment stock management at a mining operation in the Morobe / Eastern Highlands region. This role involves hands-on work in receiving, storing, picking, and distributing mining consumables while maintaining accurate stock records and high safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive and check deliveries against documentation, raising any discrepancies.
• Store items safely and correctly in bins and racks, following FIFO/FEFO.
• Pick and stage stock accurately to work orders and issue slips.
• Assist with cycle counts, reconciliations, and variance investigations.
• Operate forklifts and yard equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness, order, and compliance with PNG OHS standards.
• Support Senior Store Person with reporting and inventory control activities.

Qualifications & Experience

• 2–4+ years’ experience in warehousing, preferably in mining or heavy industry.
• Exposure to consignment stock management an advantage.
• Familiarity with mining consumables such as ground support, rock tools, ventilation, and poly/HDPE products are desirable.
• Current forklift license required.
• Ability to use ERP systems or handheld scanners (training provided).
• Physically fit and able to pass pre-employment medical and site inductions.
• Minimum Requirement: Good pass in secondary school.
• Desirable: A trade or technical qualification, or equivalent work experience in warehouse or industrial operations.
