Warehouse Assistant - Wewak

Elliven is a boutique Papua New Guinea trading firm focused on responsibly sourcing and delivering high quality PNG agricultural products to global specialty markets.

The Role:

We have an opportunity for a qualified Warehouse Assistant to join our team based in Wewak. Reporting to the Branch Manager. The Candidate will be required to assist coordinate all warehouse and logistical procedures for the allocated branch.

Mandatory Requirements:

• Degree from University – Agricultural (Preferable) or Equivalent Warehousing
• Preferably 3 – 5 years’ experience in the Commodity Export & Shipping, Logistics and warehousing. In addition – excellent understanding of daily operations
• 3-5 Years’ Experience in Stock Control and accurate Reporting
• Knowledge and understanding of the Stakeholders involved in Exporting and Shipping.
• Fast and accurate data entry and reporting skills
• Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and knowledge of the Loyverse system or a similar SOP knowledge is an advantage.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and logical thinking skills.
• Well spoken and able to deal with and work with Customers and Management.
• Strong attention to detail and a high level of integrity – you are comfortable handling sensitive warehouse operations.
• Enthusiastic, self-starter, eager to learn and demonstrate a willingness to work with minimum supervision.
• Must Live in Wewak and be available to work flexible hours.
