COCOA ASSESSOR/WAREHOUSE ASSISTANT/CONTAINER LOADING OFFICER

Elliven Ltd is the largest Cocoa exporter in Papua New Guinea on responsibly sourcing and delivering high quality cocoa to global specialty markets.

The Role

Due to business growth, we are seeking a Certified Cocoa Assessor / Warehouse Assistant / Container
Loading Officer to join our operations at any of our branches in, Wewak, Rabaul and Arawa. Suitable Candidates that meet all the requirements and are from these towns/provinces, will be given high priority in the screening process.

Mandatory Requirements

• Current and valid Certified Cocoa Assessor qualification (obtained within the last 5 years)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with high level of Comprehension and logical problem‑solving ability
• Clear Police Clearance (issued within the last 6 months) and
• Current Medical Clearance Report
• Minimum 3+ years’ experience in cocoa assessment, quality control, and export regulatory compliance
• Strong knowledge of PNG Government stakeholder procedures, regulatory bodies, and export compliance requirements
• Demonstrated ability to manage accurate documentation and regulatory reporting, including commodity export, shipping, customs, and cargo clearance processes
• Minimum 3+ years’ experience in commodity purchasing, warehouse operations, container loading, stock control, and shipping
• Proven commitment to workplace safety and zero tolerance for fraud.
• Reliable employment history with a strong reputation among previous employers
• Self‑motivated, enthusiastic, and able to perform in a fast‑paced operational environment
• Availability to work flexible hours and ability to commence immediately
• Must reside in Lae (city limits) and be willing to relocate to regional operational sites (accommodation not provided)
• Class 6 or Class 3 driver’s licence (desirable)
