Position Title: Warehouse Assistant

Job Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Warehouse Assistant to support day-to-day warehouse operations in Port Moresby. This role plays a key part in ensuring goods are received, stored, and dispatched accurately and safely while maintaining high standards of inventory control and workplace safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive and inspect incoming goods, ensuring accuracy and quality against delivery documents.
• Accurately record stock movements and update inventory records.
• Store, label, and organise stock in designated warehouse locations.
• Pick, pack, and prepare orders for dispatch in a timely manner.
• Assist with regular stocktakes and report discrepancies.
• Load and unload delivery vehicles safely.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe warehouse environment.

Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum Grade 10 or Grade 12 certificate.
• Previous warehouse, stores, or logistics experience is an advantage.
• Basic computer skills and ability to maintain accurate stock records.
• Physically fit and capable of manual handling duties.
• Forklift licence is an advantage (or willingness to obtain).
• Understanding of workplace health and safety practices.
