Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and organised Warehouse Manager to lead and oversee warehouse operations in Lae. This role is responsible for ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods while maintaining accurate inventory records, safety standards, and operational efficiency.

The Warehouse Manager plays a key role in supporting Globe's distribution and supply chain operations in Morobe Province and surrounding regions.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, and dispatch of goods.
• Ensure accurate inventory control, stock counts, and reconciliation processes.
• Oversee warehouse staff, including rostering, performance management, and training.
• Maintain workplace health and safety standards and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Coordinate with sales, logistics, and transport teams to meet delivey schedules.
• Monitor warehouse costs and identify opportunities for operational improvements.
• Ensure proper handling, storage, and security of all products.
• Prepare and submit operational and inventory reports to management.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Diploma or Degree in logistics, supply chain, warehousing, or a related field
• Proven experience in warehouse or distribution management, preferrably within FMCG
• Strong knowledge of inventory management and warehouse best practices
• Leadership and people management skills
• Good planning, organisational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet operational deadlines
• Basic computer skills, including Excel and inventory systems
