Overview

We are seeking a talented and motivated Web Developer / Applications Support Specialist to join our Applications Support team. The Web Developer / Application Support Specialist plays a dual role in Daltron’s ICT operations: developing and maintaining web applications while ensuring reliable support for both internal teams and external customers. Internally, the role supports staff by maintaining business-critical systems, streamlining workflows, and enabling operational efficiency. Externally, the role provides technical assistance to clients, ensuring smooth application performance, timely issue resolution, and delivery of enhancements that meet customer requirements. This position is key to sustaining Daltron’s reputation for dependable ICT solutions and customer-focused service.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain responsive web applications and portals.
• Implement clean, efficient and secure code following industry best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-function teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
• Provide first and second level support for business applications.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve application issues in a timely manner.
• Monitor system performance and ensure high availability of applications.
• Coordinate with vendors and third-party providers when required.
• Develop API and integration between applications and enterprise systems.
• Support ERP, CRM and other business platforms and customization and reporting.
• Participate in upgrades, migration and testing activities.
• Maintain technical documentation, user guides and support materials.
• Provide training and guidance to end users on application functionality.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology or related filed.
• Proven experience in web development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP or similar frameworks).
• Knowledge of database management (SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL).
• Experience with ERP systems, APIS, and application integration is an advantage.
• Frappe/Bench framework knowledge is a strong advantage.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for user support and collaboration.
