Welders & Fitters

Master Systems Technologies is Papua New Guinea’s leading provider of Fleet and Fuel Management solutions. We are currently seeking qualified Welders & Fitters to join our operations in Lae.

Key Responsibilities:

• Interpret and work from fabrication drawings and blueprints
• Cut, fit, and tack metal components with precision
• Perform MIG, TIG, or Stick welding based on project needs
• Inspect welds for quality and structural integrity
• Collaborate effectively as part of a skilled team

Minimum Requirements:

• Relevant Trade Certificate from the National Apprenticeship and Trade Testing Board (NATTB)
• 2+ years of experience in welding and fitting
• Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Familiarity with welding symbols, safety protocols, and proper tool usage
• Welding certification, desirable.
• Minimum 3 years work experience.

Desirable Qualities:

• Broad technical knowledge in metal fabrication and fitting
• Ability to work independently and maintain high safety standards
