Crowne Plaza Residences Port Moresby is seeking a dynamic Meetings & Events Concierge to become the trusted point of contact for our event clients, ensuring every conference, meeting, and special event is delivered with professionalism, attention to detail, and true hospitality.

As the visible lead for the client experience, you will coordinate with multiple hotel departments, manage key operational moments, and ensure every event runs seamlessly from planning through to execution.

A little taste of your day-to-day

Every day is different, but your responsibilities will typically include:

• Act as the primary point of contact for event organisers before, during, and after events.
• Coordinate with Food & Beverage, Culinary, Front Office, Engineering and other departments to ensure event readiness.
• Welcome and host clients, VIP guests, official delegations, and corporate groups.
• Monitor event delivery, resolve issues quickly, and ensure client satisfaction.
• Conduct venue tours and site inspections for prospective clients.
• Support Sales & Marketing initiatives to generate new business opportunities and repeat bookings.
• Follow up post-event feedback and maintain strong client relationships.

What we need from you

• Experience in meetings and events, banquets, hospitality operations, conference venues, or a similar client-facing role.
• Strong organisational and coordination skills.
• Confidence leading briefings and managing multiple priorities.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
• Professional presentation and attention to detail.
• Ability to remain calm and solution-focused under pressure.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays when required.
• Experience with OPERA, or similar systems is advantageous but not essential.
