At Crowne Plaza Residences Port Moresby, we’re looking for a Duty Manager who is passionate about people, confident in leading a team and ready to make every guest interaction count.

As Duty Manager, you’ll take the lead during your shift, supporting the Front Office team, responding to guest needs and helping ensure hotel operations run smoothly while delivering the warm and professional service our guests expect.

A little taste of your day-to-day

You’ll be:

• Leading smooth and efficient Front Office operations
• Supporting your team to deliver warm, personalised guest service
• Working with other departments to ensure guest requests are handled promptly
• Supporting IHG One Rewards enrolments
• Building positive relationships with guests and recognising their individual needs
• Handling enquiries and resolving guest concerns with confidence and professionalism
• Supporting hotel safety and emergency procedures
• Taking ownership of challenges and finding practical solutions
• Creating a positive team environment focused on delivering memorable guest experiences

What we need from you

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in hospitality, Hotel Management or a related field
• 2 -3 years’ Front Office or Guest Services experience, ideally with supervisory experience
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office and hotel/front office management systems
• Strong communication, leadership and organisational skills
• A confident and professional approach to guest concerns and problem-solving
• Passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Flexibility to work rostered shifts, weekends and public holidays
