WE’RE HIRING | KITCHEN - COMMIS CHEF

Every plate has the potential to create a lasting memory for our guests. We’re looking for a passionate Commis Chef who takes pride in great presentation, quality flavours and maintaining high standards from the kitchen to the table.

A little taste of your day-to-day

Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be:

• Preparing and presenting dishes that are a feast for the eyes and a treat for the tastebuds
• Bringing attention to detail, creativity and consistency to everything you prepare
• Taking ownership of your workstation, including supplies, equipment and waste management
• Maintaining excellent cleanliness, food safety and hygiene standards at all times
• Supporting cleaning, washing up and general kitchen duties when required
• Working closely with the wider Kitchen team to ensure smooth and efficient service
• Taking on other duties as required and contributing as a true team player

What we need from you – About you

• Diploma or Vocational Certificate in Culinary Skills, Commercial Cookery or a related field
• At least 2 years’ relevant experience in a similar role within a hotel, restaurant or commercial kitchen environment would be an advantage
• Good knowledge of food preparation, presentation and kitchen hygiene standards
• Strong attention to detail with a passion for quality and presentation
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment
• Ability to interact professionally with guests, colleagues and other stakeholders in a manner that reflects positively on the hotel, brand and company
• Ability to speak, read and write English
• Excellent personal presentation and grooming standards
• A positive attitude, willingness to learn and strong team spirit
• Flexibility to work rostered shifts, including weekends and public holidays as required
