What you’ll do

As a Staff Cook, you’ll support the Kitchen team with the preparation and cooking of meals while maintaining quality, presentation and hygiene standards. You’ll help keep work areas clean and organised, follow established kitchen procedures, minimise wastage and work closely with the wider team to support smooth daily operations.

What we need from you – About you

• Certificate or qualification in Commercial Cookery, Hospitality or a related field is desirable
• Previous experience working in a commercial kitchen, hotel, restaurant or similar environment
• Basic knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques and kitchen operations
• Good understanding of food hygiene, cleanliness and safe food-handling practices
• Ability to follow recipes, portion standards and instructions from senior chefs
• Good organisational and time-management skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment
• A positive attitude, willingness to learn and strong team spirit
• Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays as required
