WORKSHOP COORDINATOR – FARM BASED

Zenag Chicken is the longest established and leading producer of high-quality chickens and eggs in PNG. Established in 1946 with its corporate HQ in Lae Industrial Centre and Poultry Farm based outside of Lae which supplies quality eggs and chicken throughout PNG.

The Workshop Coordinator is responsible for planning, organizing, and ensuring efficient communication between Workshop and other departments as well as act as the main contact for all workshop related matters.

Duties:

• Responsible for planning, scheduling, and allocating equipment, machinery, and work areas to ensure smooth workflow.
• Maintaining accurate records of work orders, equipment, and inventory.
• Coordinating Preventative Maintenance on company assets.
• Enforcing compliance in Workplace Safety.
• Ensuring machinery remains in peak condition through correct usage.
• Conducting regular safety checks and risk assessments within the department.
• Acting as Quality Control in workshop operation.

Skills and Specifications

• Must have an Automotive Certificate/Diploma
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Workshop Operation or Transport Coordinator.
• Sound understanding in the maintenance of Trucks & Heavy Equipment.
• Working knowledge in CMMS & Maintenance Program.
• Familiar in different heavy equipment, truck, and Ute, knows to identify parts.
• Know how to drive and operate heavy equipment is plus.
• Must possess strong communication skills.
• Must be a team player.
• Flexible with working time.
